Client's Rights

As your attorneys, we play many roles and provide you with numerous benefits:

  • We hold your hand with confidence as we guide you through what may seem like a daunting process: the judiciary system and its procedures. We counsel and prepare our clients, as we want them to understand that the judiciary is there to help individuals gain possession to and maintain their legal rights. Regardless of whether or not you feel like you are in the right, there is always a better way to solve a problem. We will work with you by discussing your options to decide what the best course of action would be for you and your case.

  • We will discuss all of the facts of your case in thorough detail so that we are then able to present them to the court in a concise manner and in the light most beneficial to your situation. We will meet with you and review your case with you with patience and understanding so that everything is covered. We will sift through the information in a way that will allow us to make the strongest legal claims or legal defenses so that your legal goals may be actualized. Furthermore, we will be the ones to present your case to the Court, so that you wont have to do any of the heavy work.

  • We will provide you with a shoulder in your time of need. Anyone dealing with family or matrimonial issues is going through a hard time in their lives. Therefore, we know that it is important for you to have an attorney that you know will be there when you need them and who always has your best interest in mind.

We promise to keep you fully informed of any developments in your case; to discuss Court procedures and any different remedies which the Court may have available to you; to discuss your options and to do our best to get you what you want; and most importantly, to try and reach a resolution for your case as soon as possible as litigating often takes much time, and we will try to reach a settlement as soon as possible.

An individual, whether represented by us or another attorney, has the rights to:
  • Be treated with courtesy and consideration at all times by your attorney.

  • An attorney capable of handling your legal matter competently and diligently, if you are not satisfied with how your matter is being handled, you have the right to withdraw from the attorney-client relationship at any time.

  • Your attorney’s independent professional judgment and undivided loyalty uncompromised by conflicts of interest.

  • Your questions and concerns addressed in a prompt manner and to have your telephone calls returned promptly.

  • Be informed about the status of your matter and to receive copies of papers.

  • Have your legitimate objectives respected by your attorney; including whether or not to settle your matter.

  • Privacy in your dealings with your attorney and to have your secrets and confidences preserved to the extent permitted by law.

  • Be present in court at the time that conferences are held.

  • Not be refused representation based on race, creed, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin or disability.
